Virtual Neurorehabilitation Lab
We study mechanisms of cortical plasticity and the effects of virtual reality on neuronal processing. We apply our findings to clinical neurorehabilitation. A particular focus of our work is on visuo-motor interactions and the development of low-cost technologies to support these interactions.
Our aims are:
- to develop well-founded tools to treat neurological disorders,
- to understand the mechanisms by which they work,
- to test them in clinical trials, and
- to encourage their use in therapy.
